Yattokame Festival DOORS
Date: Oct 25,2025(Sat) ~ Nov 16(Sun)
Opening the doors to Nagoya culture
The Yattokame Cultural Festival began in 2013, later changing its name to "Yattokame Festival DOORS" in 2023. But even with the name change, it continues to let you experience Nagoya's traditional arts, history, and culture throughout the city.
Nagoya has long been known as a capital of the arts since the Owari Tokugawa clan's influence during the Edo period. The clan fostered artistic culture, such as the Kyogen and Noh dramatic arts, and this festival delves deeply into that proud history as it offers the chance to relish all the artistic saavy the city has to offer.
Walk through doors leading ever further into the culture of Nagoya; there are so many just waiting for you to turn the knob.
