A wide variety of fields of manufacturing have developed in Aichi Prefecture since ancient times, and there are several places where you can come into direct contact with the places where all that work has been getting done. You can experience the wonderful manufacturing culture of Aichi, and how interesting it is, at places like the Toyota Motor Corporation's Toyota Automobile Museum and Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology, by visiting pottery studios in Seto and walking Tokoname Pottery Footpath, which open up the whole of those pottery towns, Hatcho miso warehouses in Okazaki that nurtured Aichi's brewing culture, MIM (Mizkan Museum), a vinegar museum that uses cutting-edge technology, and SCMAGLEV and Railway Park, where rows of shinkansen cars and other actual rolling stock can be seen.
