A Luminous 70th: 70 Years Since Komaki City's Establishment and Shining a Light Toward the Future

Due to popular demand each year, the Komaki Station Area Light Display is back!
This year, the theme is "A Luminous 70th: 70 Years Since Komaki City's Establishment and Shining a Light Toward the Future", and commemorates the 70th anniversary of Komaki City's formation with a gallant display at seven different photo spots. Decorations change with Christmas, New Year's, and Valentine's Day so that you can enjoy the light display throughout the winter as it brings vibrant live to Komaki nights.
Enjoy Komaki City in a whole new light—pun intended!

Sights to see

Seven photo spots

Symbol Road
A gentle Champagne gold light brings an elevated sense of grace to one of Komaki's roads. This Symbol Road has spots for the perfect photo op and two areas with logos which change by the season.

Station's west area
An event space with decorations changing by event welcomes you! A huge sofa is located in the center, letting you take the perfect social media shots.
Plus, a pathway through the lawn area too has sights to see with numerous illuminated arches, waiting for you to pass through as you enter into the seasonal winter spirit.

Library area
Gentle lights shine like moving fireflies on the ground outside the library. Take a surreal stroll through along this magical path especially beloved by children!
