Blow away the heat!

Make the hot summer in Nagoya even hotter! The exciting Osu Summer Festival is centered around Osu Kannon Temple and the Osu Shopping District in central Nagoya. In addition to traditional taiko drum performances by Osu Taiko, watch the Samba-Cosplay Parade, be a part of the communal bon dance, cheer on musical groups at concerts, and watch in awe as handheld fireworks are shot off from brave professionals' hands.

Access by public transport

• Osu Kannon Temple: From Nagoya Station, take the Higashiyama Subway Line. Get off at Fushimi Station and transfer to the Tsurumai Subway Line. Get off at Osu Kannon Station and walk 1 min.
• Bansho-ji Street: From Nagoya Station, take the Higashiyama Subway Line. Get off at Sakae Station and transfer to the Meijo Subway Line. Get off at Kamimaezu station and walk 5 min.
• Osu Shopping Arcade: From Nagoya Station, take the Higashiyama Subway Line. Get off at Sakae Station and take the Meijo Subway Line. Get off at Kamimaezu Station and walk 2 min.

• Osu Kannon Temple: 2 min. from the Shirakawa Exit on the Nagoya Expressway.
• Bansho-ji Street: 5 min. from the Shirakawa Exit on the Nagoya Expressway.
