The Japanese tradition of encouraging a whole new generation of brave young boys

Oguchi Town Historical Folk Museum holds a now annual special Boys' Day exhibit with heroic dolls portraying generals and warriors as well as earthen dolls and carp streamers gifted to the museum put on display. The carp streamers flutter down the wall like a stunning waterfall.
Battle camp curtains are put up in the background with an artificial bonfire at a photography corner, where your little one can put on a battle helmet and jacket for a commemorative picture.

A hands-on section is also available, letting parents and children make their own carp streamer calendar. Plus, the Warrior Training P mystery-solving program is available with each rotating exhibit, and this time you can enjoy six courses, including the Japanese Ghost Removal and Warrior’s Rise to Fame programs.
