A Hana Festival with pro Japanese taiko drummers Shidara
The Hana Festival is a traditional and artistic festival which has continued for more than 700 years and is designated a national important intangible folk cultural property.
Enjoy the characteristic Onyu-style dance and rich history as can be seen in the old partitions fencing off holy ground which still remain today. A collaboration with Shidara taiko drummers is sure to bring a new energy to the festivities through a passionate performance.
Carpooling is advised as spots to park are scarce.

- Access by public transport
- From Toyohashi Station, take the JR Iida Line and get off at Toei Station. Take the Toei Line Bus and get off at Hongo. Next, take the Higashi-Sonome Line Bus, get off at Higashi-Sonome, and walk 5 min.

- Access by car
- At Hamamatsu-Inasa Junction on the Shin-Tomei Expressway, change to the San-Ennanshin Expressway. Upon exiting at Horaikyo Interchange, head north on Route 151 for approx. 7.1 km (10 min.). Turn right to take Aichi Route 9 for 400 m and, instead of turning right to keep on Route 9, go straight entering on Aichi Route 1 and proceed another 6.7 km. When the road changes to Route 473, continue straight for 3 km (5 min.), then turn right to enter Route 504 and follow it for 2 km (5 min.).
