Hana Festival Hall
The Hana Festival Hall exhibits the history of the 700-year-old Hana Festivals under the theme of Hanamatsuri.
The Hana Festivals, which are designated as an Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property of Japan, are a folk performing art of Toei Town that have been handed down for 700 years. Inside the hall, explanations are provided in an easy-to-understand manner using masks, costumes, ritual implements, old documents and video materials so that even those who have never heard of the Hana Festivals can easily understand. In addition, costumed dolls are arranged on the dancing arena called the "maido," which was created to convey the essential character of the Hana Festivals, and you can feel the unique atmosphere.
