The largest flower and plant market of Tokai Area

Nishio City Ikoi-no-Noen is a marketplace for direct sales from the producers, the largest of its kind in the Tokai region. The facility has exhibit areas for plants, green house, and model gardens, all with a great variety of species. Adjacent to the marketplace there is the Nishio City Rose Garden, with about 3,500 rose shrubs of over 200 varieties. Seasonal events held throughout the year keep the visitors entertained while shopping or simply enjoying the flowery sights.

During the Roses Festival (mid-May to early June), besides the Exhibition Garden, guests will be able to visit the Tunnel of Suspended Roses (Tsurubara-no-tonneru), as well as grassy fields and greenhouses, and many other ways of enjoying this impressive place. It’s also possible to shop for roses there, choosing from the vast selections of types permanently available. Guests incoming for shopping may also find nice discounts on rose flowers and tree seedlings.
