A rest stop you'll only find in the City of Pottery

The city of Seto is known far and wide for its Setoware pottery and ceramics industry boasting a history and tradition of 1,300 years. And that proud culture is alive and well even today thanks to the craftsmen who continue producing the beautiful pieces. Seto Shinano Rest Stop is located in this pottery and ceramics city and lets you browse almost limitless pieces and even get a taste of Seto's cuisine at the Seto Meshi Cafeteria.
Mouthwatering bistro is served on Setoware, tantalizing your taste, touch, site, and other five senses. Find some dishware you like? Purchase it at the Shinano Pottery and Ceramics Center. And at the Fresh Farmers' Market, you'll find original processed foods, popular sweets, and other Seto delights you can only explain with "Delicious!"
Events such as those offering handmade crafts are also available. Check the official site for event details.
