A Comprehensive Park With Flowers, a Wading Pool, and a Petting Zoo
Located on Mt. Akatsuka, this comprehensive park is home to Gyogyo Land, the only freshwater fish aquarium in the Higashi Mikawa region, and petting zoo Anianimaru which has 10 different species and a total of 70 animals. Other facilities include a huge wading pool where you can play in the water.
Especially popular is the Hana-Shobu iris garden, with about 5,000 iris bulbs in 100 different varieties. The best time to see irises is from early June, continuing for around three weeks. Enjoy a leisurely stroll while admiring the elegant purple flowers.
