Museum 20th Anniversary Event - Seaside Literary Memorial Museum

Symbol for the picturesque area of Gamagori, maintained as memorial for great literature names, and which reproduces the taste of a "gourmet ryokan", the Seaside Literary Memorial Museum (Umibe No Bungaku Kinenkan) reaches its 20 year since its inauguration with a series of cultural events.
A collaboration between the Taishogoto Japanese Harp and the Chinese Folkloric Bow Instrument Erhu.

Winner of the coveted Akutagawa Literature Award in 1999 when he was at the plum age of 23, Gamagori natural and novelist Keiichiro Hirano will give a lecture themed on "Gamagori and The Novel Setting" (Shosetu no Butai to Gamagori 小説の舞台と蒲郡).
The writer's latest achievements include the award of the 2nd edition of the Junichi Watanabe Prize with "Matinee no Owari ni" in 2016.
