Nagoya Hirokoji Street Express Light Display
Date: Oct 25,2025(Sat) ~ Jan 15,2026(Thu)
Nagoya turns on the lights for winter
The trees along Hirokoji Street from Sasashima Intersection outside of Nagoya Station to Hirokoji-Aoi Intersection are decorated with some 500 thousand light bulbs to illuminate nighttime winter Nagoya.
The street's brilliant lights span nearly four kilometers to illuminate statues and hand prints of eight Nobel Award winners with ties to Nagoya along the way. The lights shine late into the night, also making for a romantic walk by couples during the Christmas season. Don't be a stranger to this acclaimed and radiant Nagoya spectacle.
