The real feel of a local Japanese festival

A traditional Japanese parade float rolls through the town of Toei during this festival for Suwa Nangu Jinja Shrine, located in the Omori in the greater Hongo area. As night falls, sparks rise with an airborne fireworks display including sequenced pyrotechnics and those shot from handheld Tezutsu cannons.

Access by public transport

From Toei Station on the JR Iida Line (board from Toyohashi Station, in turn reachable from Meitetsu or JR Nagoya Station using either Meitetsu Nagoya Line or JR Tokaido Main Line):
• 10-min. taxi ride north on Route 151.
• Approx. 10-min. ride on the Town Bus's Toyone–Toei Line bound for Toei Onsen. Get off at Hongo Bus Stop.
