September 29th is the city of Seto's KURUFUKU Maneki Neko—or Beckoning Cat—Day. Beckon your own luck during the KURUFUKU Maneki Neko Festival in Seto!
All of Seto stops for this amazing celebration of beckoning cats! First and foremost, there's the 100 Japanese Beckoning Cats Exhibition Contest, featuring cat statues by 100 artists selected from open entries. And let's not forget about the delicious Beckoning Cat Lunches which come in a porcelain beckoning cat-shaped bento box, hands-on beckoning cat workshops, cat merchandise available for purchase, and everything else cat-related beloved by all each year.
