A seasonal, floral and foliage paradise along the Kiso Riverbanks

Violas in winter and spring, rapeseed blossoms and alliums in spring, sunflowers and water lilies in summer, and cosmos in autumn—Flower Park Konan, inside the greater Kiso Sansen National Government Park, is a botanical paradise any time of the year. Every half hour, a spray of mist erupts from around a basin pond near the main flower garden, making for a surreal scene. Plus, a lawn area some 25,000 m² and play equipment welcome families to come and enjoy the nature as they see fit.

ACCESS

Access by public transport

Approx. 15 min. by taxi from Konan Station on the Meitetsu Inuyama Line.
Alternatively, from Konan Station, take the Meitetsu bus bound for Konan Kosei Byoin via Konan Danchi. Get off at Ongakuji Bus Stop and walk approx. 10 min.
Access by car

• From Nagoya, drive north on Route 22, turn right at Kurodanishiishihara Intersection and continue for approx. 25 min.
• From Gifu, drive south on Route 22, turn left at Kita Gata-cho Intersection and continue for approx. 25 min.
• Approx. 11 km from Komaki Interchange on the Meishin Expressway.
• Approx. 8 min. from Gifu-Kakamigahara Interchange or Ichinomiya-Kisogawa Interchange on the Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway.
