138 Tower Park is home to the symbol of Ichinomiya's skyline: Twin Arch 138, reaching 138 meters up into the air. And 138 Tower Park is home to a beautiful flower garden which offers colorful beauty with each season and occupies 26.4 ha of Kiso Sansen National Government Park, Japan's largest national park, spanning Aichi, Gifu, and Mie Prefectures.
Ichinomiya's symbolic tower, Twin Arch 138, derives its name and the height of its tallest point and from the fact that 1, 3, and 8 can be read to sound like "Ichinomiya", the city where the tower makes its home. The observation floor 100 meters up offers a fabulous 360-degree sky panorama view. Savor some delicious coffee or tea while soaking up the magnificent views from the Sky Lounge Big Tree restaurant on the observation floor, serving light snacks, desserts, drinks, and more.

Down on the ground, the Grass Areas let you kick back on their expansive lawns with a picnic lunch or to play a bit of ball—whatever tickles your fancy. Nearby, around 1,400 roses are planted in the Rose Stream while cosmos and other flowers bloom in fabulous floral colors each season in the Flower Garden. There are plenty of ways to enjoy the park, from the big open lawns where you can be active to the popular kids' play area with its large play equipment.

138 Tower Park also offers the chance to immerse yourself in nature over on the east side at the Moku Moku Paradise nature area, featuring forests, mountains, hills, groves, and ponds.
The park's free rest area Rest House Big Tree comprises stands offering ice cream and drinks as well as noodles and rice dishes, so you don't have to bring lunch with you—but you can always eat something from home too.
Another fascination of this park is its reputation as a Christmas Wonderland. Every year, the park is festooned in wonderful Christmas lights during the 138 Winter Light Display event, creating a splendid scene that can be appreciated from the observation floor as well as at ground level. It's now recognized as one of Aichi Prefecture's top light display spots.
