YHA Whitewater Rafting & Kisogawa River Adventures
Youth Holiday Adventures (YHA) offers whitewater rafting and other modalities of river adventure and activity packages at the famous sightseeing attraction Kisogawa river. Get on the inflatable raft and challenge its rapids running a 10km-long experience that will enable you to witness the natural beauty of Hida-Kisogawa National Park, all the while navigating the section of the Kisogawa nicknamed "The Rhine of Japan" (Nippon Rhine), for its similarity to the famous European river and its gorgeous valleys.
All rafting courses are accompanied by a highly skilled and experienced guide, so the activity is safe and fun for both novice and seasoned rafters. The operator also offers other modality packages such as River Boogie (known as Riverboarding in the USA, Hydrospeed in Europe, and Whitewater Sledging in New Zealand), inflatable duckie kayaks for both individual and pairs, tubing (pneumatic tubes), and adventure camps.
*: Whitewater Rafting and River Boogie restarted from June 21, 2021. Courses are operating with smaller numbers of people for the time being.
