Clamming is a leisure activity done mainly from April to June, where people dig up and collect shellfish from the sand of shallow sandy beaches. Minamichita is a fishing town famous for a variety of fresh, delicious seafood, and the taste of the clams taken from the waters of its expansive, shallow beaches is exceptional.

- From Kowa Station on the Meitetsu Kowa Line (board from Meitetsu Nagoya Station), take the Chita Bus bound for Port of Morozaki and get off at Yamada Bus Stop.
