Rural Stage Art Project 2025: World Roots Culture in Fujioka

A stage of the past serves the arts of today
The Fujioka area of Toyota City and the stage of one of its shrines once used for rural Kabuki plays now host a whole new variety of performing arts. An array of different groups with ties to Toyota City offer engaging dance and musical performances.
A traditional Japanese Kabuki performance as well as artistic spectacles featuring performers in ethnic garb take place in this program offering a taste of the different regions and cultures of the world.

• Traditional Chinese Dances (China): Performance by Kaho no Tomo Dance Troupe
• Classical & Indian Dances (India): Performance by Indian Classical Dance Troupe
• Brazilian Samba and Other Dances (Brazil): Performance by O PEIXE
• Rural Kabuki Plays (Japan): Performance by Fujioka Kabuki

| Notes | • Come directly to the Cultural Affairs Section of the Toyota City Cultural Promotional Foundation to pick up tickets if you would like them beforehand. • Tickets are available to pick up the day of the event from 12:30 pm with submission of your name. • There is no limit to the number of reservations. However, application for the number of people planning on coming is recommended beforehand to secure seats. |
