At AEON MALL Tokoname on October 2nd and 3rd, an exhibition sale of Tokoname pottery by a group of popular young artists and others will take place in the form of an open-air market. On October 9th and 10th there will be an exhibition sale of Tokoname maneki-neko, traditional beckoning cat figurines.
In addition, for a period of three days from October 8th to 10th along a shopping street of ceramic specialty shops called Tokoname CeraMall, an exhibition sale will be held under the theme Life with Ceramics to help support people's daily lives during the coronavirus pandemic. Starting with local pottery, wholesaler bargain items, and outlet products, stylish and unique works created in modern styles by young artists are also gaining popularity recently. Come and encounter captivating ceramics in this ancient pottery town.
