A whole new—or lack of—light on the park

Tohoyashi Zoo & Botanical Park (Non Hoi Park), once again holds its summer highlight: the Night Zoo! Enjoy a variety of Night Zoo-only events and activities such as caretakers' explanations of the animals and feedings as well as collaborative nighttime illumination and musical displays in the Botanical Garden for an even more exotic night jungle experience.
Food trucks too make an appearance and lanterns are available to let your explore the park in the dark as well as other fun programs offer good times no matter your age!

Night Zoo
Something about the animals seems a little different… Because it's night! A bunch of animals show you a new side when the summer heat goes away and the nighttime rolls in.

Notes:
• Changes may occur to exhibitions due to animals' physical conditions.
• Exhibition times differ by animal.

Special Night Zoo animal explanations and feedings by caregivers
Animal caretakers offer explanations about their animals with information only they know during this special opportunity available only during the Night Zoo! You can even watch some animal feedings.

Amusement park All-you-can-ride on nine attractions!
Both children and adults are free to ride the nine different attractions, such as the kids rollercoaster, Ferris wheel, and more in the Amusement Park Zone.

Night Museum
Experience a museum atmosphere and its fossils amid brilliant illumination with a light in hand.

Night Jungle Light, music, and an exciting jungle adventure
The botanical garden has changed big time as tropical plant life takes on all sorts of colors in an extraordinary atmosphere. Take off on an exciting adventure around a magical jungle with fun music.

Night Sky Gourmet Market A wonderland around the breezy water's edge
Eat your fill of everything from classic festival fare to special treats changing each week! The menu is sure to have you leaving satisfied.

Night Zoo Exploration Kit
Take an original lantern in hand as you walk around the Night Zoo. Plus, you can get your hands on a limited-time Night Zoo sticker as the zoo's gift to you.

    By public transportation
    From Toyohashi Station, take the JR Tokaido Line and get off at Futagawa Station. Approx. 6-min. walk from the South Exit.
  • Access by car
    By car
    • Approx. 50 min. on Route 1 in the direction of Shizuoka from Otowa Gamagori Interchange on the Tomei Expressway. Turn right at the Doshokubutsuen stoplight.
    • Approx. 10 min. on Route 151 in the direction of Kozakai from Toyokawa Interchange on the Tomei Expressway. After turning left at the Miyashita stoplight, continue on Route 1 in the direction of Shizuoka for approx. 30 min. and turn right at the Doshokubutsuen stoplight.
