Odo Yumekake Wind Chime Festival
Date: Jul 20,2025(Sun) ~ Aug 31(Sun)
Wind chimes ring throughout
a picturesque mountain village
The Odo Yumekake Wind Chime Festival began in 2003. During the festival, the town of Odo in Toyota City's Asahi area is filled with the refreshing sounds of the wind chimes and the murmur of a river.
In addition to writing wishes on strips of paper attached to the wind chimes, copying Buddhist sutras, or meditating at Zofukuji Temple—more commonly known as "Furindera Temple", or the "Wind Chime Temple"—other events such as wind chime painting and summer holiday handicraft classes are held along the Odo Shopping Street, which bustles with visitors.
