Visit one of two major kiln areas in Aichi: Seto City. With 1,000 years of pottery, stoneware, and ceramics history and culture, Seto is a handicraft hot spot. Pottery and china from Seto became so famous that even now, all kiln fired items and ceramics are known as <span style="font-style:italic;">Seto-yaki</span>", or <span style="font-style:italic;">Seto-mono</span>", meaning "Seto ware". See and experience it for yourself.

Start at Seto-Gura Museum → (Approx. 3-min. walk) → Maneki-Neko Museum → (Approx. 10-min. walk) → Kamagaki no Komichi Street → (Approx. 20-min. car or taxi ride) → Aichi Prefectural Ceramic Museum
