  • Omotehama Beach

Located in the south of Aichi Prefecture, this beach faces the open sea of the Pacific Ocean. The Enshunada coast, which stretches about 50 km eastward from Cape Irago to Lake Hamana, is affectionately called "Omotehama Beach" by local residents. The beach is also famous as a rest stop for migratory birds, and you can see honey bees before the arrival of winter, gray-faced buzzards in winter, and little terns in summer. The long sandy beach is also called "Katahama Jusanri.”
