Located at the tip of Nishiura Peninsula, Nishiura Onsen Hot Spring features large ryokans with ocean views lined up on a steep hill extending from the coast line. The scenery here is so beautiful that it often used to draw Manyo poets to visit. The hot spring features waters of various chemical qualities, from simple alkaline and simple green vitriol springs, to chloride springs amongst others. A gentle sandy beach is adjacent, so the spring is visited by sea swimmers in summer.

Access by public transport

・From Nagoya Station, take the JR Tokaido line. Alight at Gamagori station and take Meitetsu Gamagori line. Alight at t Nishiura station and 20minutes walk.
Or 10minutes by a route bus, taxi, or courtesy pick-up.
Access by car

Approx. 40 minutes from the Tomei Expressway Otowa-Gamagori I.C. via the Orange Road (paid) and Route 247.
