Kick-off ceremony
At ceremony held on June 4th, 2016 at the Chubu Centrair International Airport, the Hattori Hanzo Ninja Team officially kicked-off the new team’s activity which will grace the airport with weekly demonstrations of martial arts, dances and mingling in general of the members with the passengers and visitors. The ceremony was attended by Aichi Prefecture Governor Hideaki Omura and the Nagoya Omotenashi Bushotai team of “Samurai Lords”!
Scheduled for weekly appearances
The “Airport Ninja Project” promises to bring the ninjas to perform every week on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays, from 8:00 AM to 8:40 AM, at the 2F Arrivals Lobby (International Arrivals side), followed by a stage demonstration starting 9:00 AM at the 4F Event Stage.
Ninjas everywhere!
The project also will decorate the airport’s chambers with amusing ninja-themed items. Visitors may get to see them flying around, watching you from above, running or hiding among the crowds, making for some pictures and smiles.
Plenty of time to see them: until March 2017!
The initiative goes on until next March 2017, so if you happen to transit at Centrair during those days and times, you’ll be able to see them doing their impressive acrobatics and dances!
