Techniques for the growing of cyclamen and orchids have also been developed in Aichi. Here’s where to best enjoy our prefecture's seasonal flowers.
Enjoy seasonal flower spotting from spring to autumn, and in particular the sunflower fields from mid-June. You can cut and take home this botanical beauty as pruners are available for rent.

Gaze in awe upon the natural beauty of Yakachi River in Handa City. From late September and early October, the banks turn a bright red as a carpet of over three million native cluster amaryllis flowers bloom along a two-kilometer stretch.
See over two million cosmos flowers in full bloom every mid-October to mid-November along a 500-meter stretch of Prefectural Route 280 in the Toyo-oka area of Minamichita Town. The large white, pink, and red cosmos are an absolute sensation!
