Tokai-City Oike Park Cherry Blossom Festival

A nighttime cherry blossom illumination and spectacle of light and sound
Oike Park is home to some 700 cherry trees of eight varieties. Visitors can enjoy pink tunnels of blossoms around the park and along the paths.
During the Cherry Blossom Festival event day, an opening ceremony, stage events, and flower and tree sapling sales offer enticing fun no matter your age. Plus, food trucks make a visit every day during the festival period.
There's even a cherry blossom illumination held every night during the festival period, turning the venue into a surreal scene. Tokai City opens its arms, welcoming you to its cherry blossom bonanza in Oike Park.

• Location: Path on the west side of the ballpark and the lawn area's stage
• Details: Enjoy refreshment stands, a sketch contest, tea ceremony, and stage events.
Special outdoor concert

Tokai City-born Ryuichi Yogi and his band incorporating Japanese instruments Neo Japanesque hold a special one-night-only concert. Enjoy live music together with lit-up cherry blossoms in a scene you'll find nowhere else.
