Ichinomiya City's premier illumination spectacular

The Ichinomiya Illumination is the city of Ichinomiya's feature winter event and intertwines almost seamlessly with the Ichinomiya Daidai Festival Gathering for Halloween in fall and the preceding Ichinomiya Tanabata Star Festival in summer. This year's festivities include some of the most lights with some 2-hundred-thousand LED bulbs radiating the streets around JR Owari-Ichinomiya Station and Meitetsu Ichinomiya Station, shining clear and bright through the city's winter nights.

Location: Cul de sac (roundabout) around Ginza-dori Street

• Held in the 3-chome area of the Honda Shopping Street (equipped with a dome roof) should rainy weather occur.

Access by public transport

Just outside of JR Owari-Ichinomiya Station and Meitetsu Ichinomiya Station (board either the JR Tokaido Main Line or Meitetsu Nagoya Line from Nagoya Station).
Access by car

• Approx. 12 min. west from Ichinomiya-Higashi Interchange on the Nagoya Expressway No. 16 Ichinomiya Line.
• Approx. 12 min. east from Ichinomiya-Nishi Interchange on the Tokai Hokuriku Expressway.
