At the Hawaiian Festival in Kira Waikiki Beach, hula dance enthusiasts from around Japan as well as flocks of tourists come together to create a fun-filled atmosphere. Renowned Tahitian and other Polynesian dance shows entertain with a whole host of other events. Together with Hawaiian food trucks and Hawaiian merchandise booths, it's like you're actually there!

Kumu Hula Ellen Gay workshop
Kumu Hula Ellen Gay is Kumu and the late Sally Wood Naluai's neice. She continues the practice of Sally Wood Naluai's hula style. Ellen Gay teaches hula and other Polynesian dance at the Polynesia Culture Center and is one of the few to have a in-depth knowledge of Kumu Hula.

- • Approx. 7 min. (4.3 km) (by either taxi or free-of-charge shuttle bus) from Kira Yoshida Station on the Meitetsu Nishio Line (board from Meitetsu Nagoya Station).
• 25-min. walk south from Mikawa Toba Station on the Meitetsu Gamagori Line (board from Meitetsu Nagoya Station to Kira Yoshida Station, and change trains to the Meitetsu Gamagori Line bound for Gamagori).
