Miyoshi Pond Festival

Some 1,500 fireworks and lantern-laden boats reflect on the lake surface!
Seven boats adorned with 401 lit lanterns cruise around Miyoshi Pond as consecutive fireworks explode in the water creating enormous arcs of light on the pond surface in addition to a variety of airborne fireworks in a wonderful display. The local chamber of commerce offers a myriad of vendor booths adding to the festival spirit.
Plus, this year's Miyoshi Pond Festival is taking applications for individual sponsorship donations, allowing sponsors special seating.
