An authentic Shinto festival

For three days from May 3 to May 5, a festival beloved by all since ancient times is held. Various Shinto ceremonies and festivities take place with the daring Yabusame event available on May 3 and 4. During this event, children dressed up as warriors ride on horseback with a whip in the right hand while the left holds a five-colored cloth streamer which blows in the wind as they gallop in a truly splendid spectacle.
