Iwakura's fun-filled floral festival

The Iwakura Cherry Blossom Festival offers floral fun along the Gojo River, running north to south in the city of Iwakura! Enjoy the scene of one of Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots. Rows of some 1,200 trees come into bloom in a spectacle which is nearly indescribable. You can also see their beauty during a brilliant light display at night—another face to the flowers different than that of the daytime.
Plus, a miniature steam locomotive popular among kids is available to ride free of charge and sure to be the extra cherry on top of your cherry blossom excursion.
