A Liason Light-up Ceremony

A colorful relay of light entertains all at this light-up ceremony, illuminating the tree. A live performance by the Free Hills Jazz Orchestra—a big band made up of jazz-loving students from Nagoya and the surrounding suburbs—adds to the tree's lovely colors in this wonderful illumination of KITTE Nagoya's Christmas.

A light show and other events

Change the colors of the interactive Sync Link Tree
An approximately 10-meter-tall interactive tree allows you to choose from eight different colors from the Shake Sync digital device on the second floor's skyway. During the event period, the skyway's photo area also offers a Mini Sync Link Tree with soothing colors.

Outdoor light show
Twenty-four trees along the exterior roadside come to life with around 27-thousand LED lights.

Sync Link Colors! event
A variety of exciting events differing by day takes place over a three-day span for extra fun during the Christmas season.

★Pan Note Magic live music event
Steel drums made from drum cans offer exhilerating beats from Japan's pinnacle orchestra. The instruments are said to be some of the world's most relaxing and are perfect for a Christmas concert.

★Poi Lab entertainment show
Poi Lab is a creative team offering cutting-edge poi art. Trails of light combine with dynamic performances for a surreal Christmas evening show. Watch in awe at this stunning scene.

★Shake Sync Workshop: Linking by Light
Professor Jun Kanki from Osaka University, who developed Shake Sync, offers this workshop. Participants use the Shake Sync device, which shines in a brilliant array of colors, to create various artistic peices as they enjoy a rich palette of hues in this hands-on event.
