Midland Square Sky Promenade
One of the greatest presences in the Chubu region: Midland Square
Midland Square owes part of its name to the region in which it resides: the Chubu, or central/middle, region. And it acts as a symbol for the region, rising 47 floors and 247 meters and 47 floors from the ground with six basement floors. It is conveniently located just outside of JR Nagoya Station and its height allows it the title of the tallest building in the Chubu region and even the seventh tallest in Japan (as of 2015).
Take in the sights and feel the breeze on your face 230 meters in the sky!
Between the 44th and 46th floors of this office building is the outdoor observation platform Sky Promenade, available for anyone to visit. The deck on the 46th floor is around 230 meters high, from which you can gaze at the city scape of Nagoya in practically 360 degrees. Since the platform is open-air, you'll feel the wind on your face while being captivated by the grand scenery. At nighttime, you can enjoy not only the city views but also the twinkling night sky.
