Ten years since the Okumikawa Power Trail began

The Okumikawa Power Trail running competition began in 2015, but was reborn with the new name "Okumikawa Trail Running Race" from 2024 for the 50th anniversary of the Tokai Region Nature Trail's opening. The race takes place mainly on characteristically lush nature of the Tokai Region Nature Trail in the mountainous Okumikawa region of eastern Aichi.

Power Trail 60K (PT60K)
• Runner check-in: 12:00 pm–4:30 pm; Sat, Oct 25, 2025 at Yuya Onsen Hot Spring Event Plaza
• Competition date and time: 6:00 am–7:30 pm; Sun, Oct 26, 2025 (Start: Mt. Chausu Highland / Finish: Yuya Onsen Hot Spring Event Plaza)
• Distance / Cumulative elevation gain: Approx. 61 km / Approx. 3,700 km
• Time limit: 13 hr., 30 min.
• Number of participants accepted: 600 runners

Tokai Nature Trail 30K (TNT30K)
• Runner check-in: 12:00 pm–4:30 pm; Sat, Oct 25, 2025 at Yuya Onsen Hot Spring Event Plaza / 7:30 am–8:45 am; Sun, Oct 26, 2025 at Taguchi Elementary School
• Competition date and time: 9:30 am–7:30 pm; Sun, Oct 26, 2025 (Start: Taguchi Elementary School / Finish: Yuya Onsen Hot Spring Event Plaza)
• Distance / Cumulative elevation gain: Approx. 31 km / Approx. 2,500 km
• Time limit: 10 hr.
• Number of participants accepted: 400 runners

Participation prerequisites

1. Males and females 18 years of age or older (age on the day of the competition)
2. Runners able to complete the entire course in the allotted time while following the rules
3. Runners who have completed 30-km or longer trail running courses before
4. Runners who have completed a full marathon before

Note:
• TNT30K requires runners to meet both prerequisites 1 and 2.
• PT60K requires runners to meet prerequisites 1 and 2 as well as one of 3 or 4.

    Notes:
    • Parking at the designated parking lot (Fureai Park Horai) and taking the shuttle bus (fee and prior application required) to the starting line is recommended.
    • Arriving in your own car or being dropped off by family or friends is also possible. However, since the roads in the area will be used as part of the course, please give yourself plenty of time as there will be traffic restrictions around the beginning of the competition.
