Shitara TownDamine Castle

Standing in the pages of history
Historic Damine Castle is what's known as a "mountain castle", or a castle of simpler construction, not needing giant stone walls as it literally sits on a mountain peak. Built in 1470, it was integral during the Warring States period—a tumultuous time of civil war between Japan's once warring factions. Look upon the surroundings as you image the sounds of clinging swords slashing outside the castle gates.
