One of the biggest pottery and ceramics events in Japan

Over 200 pottery and ceramics merchants line the Seto River in one of Japan's largest bargain earthenware markets. An array of different pieces—from vessels for everyday use to works of art—are set out, bringing in tens of thousands of customers from every corner of Japan each year.
Search for the perfect pieces to spruce up your home among the Seto Kiln Zone, Young Artists Zone, and other sales zones.

Dazzling fireworks color the autumn night sky

The evening of the September festival's first day showcases fireworks, which is a rarity in Japan as August the typical time for fireworks. Approximately 1,000 blast into the sky for an amazing addition to the endless line of lit-up shops.
