Yatomi-City Morizu no Fuji Wisteria Viewing Party
Date : 04/25/2026
Yatomi's floral spring getaway
The Morizu no Fuji wisterias of Yatomi City are designated a municipal natural monument and are said to have been planted in 1647 when rice paddies in the Morizu area were first developed.
The wisterias meet their peak beauty in late April. Just as this occurs, tea is available while supplies last and you can enjoy admission to the Ran-tei Study, Shinto taiko drum performances, traditional Japanese court music and a Shinto Urayasu shamaness dance, as well as an appearance by produce vendors while supplies last.
