The landmark of central Nagoya soars high above the glimmering lights of the city below with an observation platform some 90 meters off the ground with sprawling views of the urban Sakae area differing from the daytime.
The entire tower puts on a radiant display as it transforms each season and by event to put on a performance of light. This is one of Nagoya's premier night spots.

Oasis21
The Oasis21 shopping complex was born in Nagoya City's Sakae district in 2002. Its glass rooftop "Spaceship-Aqua" structure floating in the sky may at first glance look like the Starship Enterprise from Star Trek has landed in Nagoya's bustling Sakae area!

Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens and Higashiyama Sky Tower (Nagoya City)
Higashiyama Sky Tower sits atop a 180-meter-high hill, which together, combine to equal 300 meters above sea level. The observation floor offers a stunning view including Nagoya's cityscape as well as the Nobi Plains off in the distance—views differing by the time of day.
Nighttime offers a particular treat with the lights of the city sparking on and twinkling like diamonds, creating a romantic atmosphere. The view is even recognized as a night view heritage of Japan and is one of the posterchildren representing Aichi's night views. Enjoying Higashiyama Sky Tower with neighboring Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens is a winning combo.

Midland Square Sky Promenade (Nagoya City)
Skyscraper Midland Square, towering over Nagoya Station, has a little getaway atop its roof like a gateway to the heavens. With a height of nearly 220 meters off the streets, it offers a sprawling view of Nagoya's cityscape. In the daytime, you can gaze almost endlessly across the dynamic urban jungle, while nighttime creates a surreal spectacle with countless lights shimmering around you.
Outdoor, you can feel the night breeze across your face with benches and rest spaces available, making for a great oasis from the everyday hustle and bustle. A magic hour occurs as the sun goes down, and is when most come to capture the true beauty of this spot.

138 Tower Park (Ichinomiya City)
This sought-after 138-meter-high observation tower is a symbolic spot enveloped by the natural world and flowers blooming through the seasons. Gaze upon the rushing waters of the Kiso River and across the expansive Nobi Plains from the observation floor 100 meters from the ground.
At night, the tower lights up as it offers majestic views much different from the daytime. Heading up to get some grand views is always a good option as is looking upon the tower itself from further off.

Mt. Sangane Skyline (Nishio City)
Mt. Sangane stands at an elevation of 326 meters with a driveway stretching along its ridge—one of the Mikawa region's go-to night view spots. From the first observation platform, you'll see the Gamagori cityscape, Mikawa Bay, and out toward Atsumi Peninsula with glimmering, gorgeous sights once the sun goes down and the lights turn up.
Nothing stands in the way of your gaze as you look across a panoramic view, awesome for driving dates or anyone with a thing for spectacular nightscapes. Keep this spot in mind if you'd like to admire Aichi nights set before the expansive Mikawa Bay.
Nishio City

Mt. Zao Observation Platform (Tahara City)
This observation is a symbol of Tahara City in southern oceanside Aichi allowing you to see the Atsumi Peninsula, Mikawa Bay, and even out across the Pacific Ocean. When night comes, the Tahara cityscape stretches out below you with lights twinkling as you could only observe from a mountain peak. Atop Mt. Zao, you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view on the observation floor with different scenes awaiting you depending on the season and time of day.
The observation platform itself even lights up, allowing you to be part of the fantastic nightscape as you commune with the cosmos. Revel in the ravishing beauty of Atsumi Peninsula's nature and urban landscapes, making for one of Aichi's more fantastic night views.
