Nagoya's night view is engulfed by the ocean in this projection mapping spectacle at Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER. Embark on an epic voyage through the seas together with Nagoya's kindred spirit, the orca, in wonderful video graphics.
This show offers a panoramic show stretching 360 degrees along the venue's windows in addition to the interactive Bubble Buddies bringing you educational fun in the observation deck's northern area. Sea creatures appear at random from the bubbles if you stand before the window and swim all around.
Couples, friends, and family—this is sure to please all who come!

Nagoya City

This event solves the problem of damage and other misfortune due to bamboo, processing it and making it into lanterns. Light shines through the lanterns created by children participating in workshops, bringing a new glow to urban Hoshigaoka.
Each bamboo lantern is different from the next, for a truly original design and brilliant glow.

Kariya City

This year's theme is based on "A Journey of Light" and portrays the emotion and excitement sports provide. The numerous challenges taken on the world stage and those emotions are layered in light, bringing people, communities, and indeed the world together in a radiant station area.
Stroll along the city as you're enveloped by artistic light displays.

Tokoname City

Tokoname is Japan's foremost producer of maneki-neko, or beckoning cats. And Tokonyan is the city's symbol as well as a beckoning cat on steroids! During the event period, this gigantic cat takes on shades of orange in an effort to spread understanding with dementia.
Tokonyan is 3.8 meters in height and 6.4 meters in width, but retains an ever-cute expression as it sits high in the night sky with an aura much different than the daytime. With just a seven-minute walk or so from Meitetsu Tokoname Station, this spot is easy to access before or after dining out or closing up your Japanese trip.

Tokoname City's symbol, Tokonyan, puts on a blue light display coinciding with International Sign Language Day. This giant cat at 3.8 meters high and 6.3 meters wide awaits you in a new light different than the daytime. It uses the blue hue to relay the fact that sign language is indeed a language.
This limited-time nighttime photo spot is within walking distance of Meitetsu Tokoname Station, and is a great way to end a tour around the Tokoname Pottery Footpath as you enjoy a blue evening Tokoname.
