An ever-evolving museum

Open since April of 2024
This comprehensive museum weaves together the themes of Toyota City's history and culture, nature, and agriculture. The Local History Museum, which closed in 2022, and the Modern Industry and Lifestyle Discovery Hall, closing in 2023, have been reborn with their functions combined into the Toyota City Museum. A grand, striking roof of wooden architecture invites all into its bright and expansive environment.

Permanent exhibit

Toyota's Nature and People
Learn about Toyota City's natural environment and the history, culture, industry, and memories taking place there through a giant diorama, videos, and other intriguing educational tools.

A festive space

The interior is home to a festival atmosphere where city residents and groups can display their lifestyles with a focus on local history, nature, and industry.
