Shonai Ryokuchi Park dyed in botanical yellows and pinks

Shonai Ryokuchi Park has about 700 cherry trees and some 20,000 rapeseed plants which, come spring, all start to bloom in concert. The Spring Flower Festival (excluding Monday, March 23 and Monday, March 30) highlights this spectacle with the added enjoyment of food trucks, hands-on workshops on weekends, and more. You can also find a picnic plaza (BBQ area), cycling courses, and other fun to fancy together with friends and family.
Even after the festival period, the blossoms of approximately 100 Sato-variety cherry trees meet their peak beauty.
